The Kyiv Polytechnic Charitable Foundation for Support of the Armed Forces, headed by Ihor Hryshko, Director of the Institute of MMI, was founded by the Academic Council of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on October 14, 2022. A year has passed.

Residents of the villages affected by the Russian explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station expressed their gratitude to the administration, teachers, staff and students of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute for the assistance provided.

For me, philosophy courses at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute are always a discovery. For 15 years - in classes on practical rhetoric, now - in reflections on the philosophy of science. I discover real treasures of talents and original thoughts in the students.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute received beneficent help for victims of russian aggression.

About 700 kg of multifaceted aid in total were obtained and provided to those who need it.

KPIMedia continues a special project — interviews with students of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute who have been fighting or helping our soldiers at the front since the beginning of the war.

Olha (Shmelova) Stratii, a graduate of the Department of Chemical Technology of Ceramics and Glass of the Faculty of Chemical Technology of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, received the Golden Heart award for her participation in the volunteer movement.

More than 5,000 trench candles made by students, lecturers and employees of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, as well as caring residents of Kyiv during the day of December 3-4, will warm the defenders of our state at the frontline. This is a record for Ukraine.

Our volunteer community is very active and developed. Polytechnicians collected and handed over humanitarian aid to the residents of Bucha, Irpin, and Kherson. At Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, a temporary shelter was set up for animals evacuated from the Kyiv region.
