The record of Ukraine in the nomination "The largest number of hot wax painted Easter eggs on Hoverla" was set in the summer by representatives of the KPI Globus tourist club.

DTEK launched an ecological and industrial touristic project for young people in Ladyzhyn.
Students and teachers have already visited the unique energy complex of Ladyzhyn TPP. They also learned about the process of electricity generation and prospects for energy development.

Ania Morozova, an Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute graduate, and a hitchhiker, has traveled around the world and visited 70 countries. Besides, she is also a journalist and a TEDx speaker. She gave lectures and pieces of training motivating Ukrainians to travel.

Having travelled Lithuania this summer, Ukrainian tourists got acquainted with its northwestern region – Samogitia, which retained its identity and culture for many hundreds of years, and Samogitians retained their own language and stubbornness.

Two teams of our university took part in the championship of Ukraine in sports trekking, cycling and water tourism among students, which was held on May 16-19. It was the first Ukrainian championship among students for the past 10 years.

Tourists are always looking for interesting things in new cities. Art cafe "Plasticine crow" in Harkiv tend to be so. The place is very atmospheric, in the style of the eponymous cartoon.

On February 24 the representative team of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on sports tourism participated in the city competitions on technique of mountaineering on snow and ice distances "Snizhny bars".

Chocolate. Sweet joy for children and adults. They say it braces up when you eat it and improves the mood when you look at it. It’s possible to see chocolate works of art not only in the store windows, but also in museums.

In the early years of independence ambitious children’s magazine took pool among children and their parents in order to find the symbol of the publishing house. It was like: what is the most known and the mostly wide spread animal in Ukraine? Most of them choose a pig as the best candidate.

The practical seminar "Knot tying technique and practical application of tourist knots"  was held on January 17th for the lectures of the Department of Physical Education in the gym of sports tourism of Igor Sikorsky KPI sports complex.
