November 12, for the first time in human history created on Earth spacecraft landed on the comet nucleus. The fact that until recently belonged to the sphere of science fiction has become reality.
November 3, at the meeting of the Academic Council NTUU”KPI” the well-known scientist, NAS of Ukraine academician, director of the Frantsevich Institute for Problem of Materials Science NASU, Valery Volodimirovich Skorohod was awarded the attributes of the Honorary Doctor of the University.
October 21 active students NTUU"KPI" met in the hall of the Academic Council with the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Dmitry Bulatov. The conversation took place in a relaxed atmosphere in the form of questions and answers.
At the initiative of the Rector M.Z. Zgurovsky a charitable organization "Volunteer Battalion KPI" was created in NTUU"KPI". Its purpose - to assist the Military, the wounded and the families of employees of the KPI, died in the ATO.

August 28, the day before the start of the new school year, the Avenue of Stars of the University and the monument to the outstanding native aircraft designer Kostantin Kalinin were opened in NTUU "KPI".
Every state, every nation has the events and the dates that form the basis, the basic points of their history, the foundation of historical memory and national pride. Victory in the Great Patriotic War has been and always will be such significant milestone for us and for future generations.
May 6 solemn meeting on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the Great Victory took place at NTUU "KPI".
