The University administration has made such a decision taking into account the epidemiological situation. They also considered the views of students and teachers. So far, the percentage of vaccinated students is insufficient to safely study in classrooms. However, we want to deliver face-to-face-learning in spring - said the First Vice-Rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Yurii Yakimenko:
“We have decided to stay on distance learning until the end of this semester, but instead focus on preparing for the transition to full-time study from the beginning of the spring semester.”

Students also supported distance learning. On the eve of this decision, the Student Council conducted a rapid survey. According to the data from 77% to 86% of students, depending on the courses and faculties, supported distance mode by the end of the semester.
