Despite the quarantine restrictions 2020, the Procurement Department of the Department of Property and Social Affairs has increased the level of procurement. The Department of Property and Social Affairs has improved the procurement system by introducing a unified procurement procedure for divisions. The Department has also identified its priority areas and tasks.

The tender committee includes not only University staff but also representatives of student organizations and authorized persons of internal control and anti-corruption.

According to the analytical module bi.prozorro, by the end of 2020, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took 1st place among the high education institutions of Kyiv and 35th place among 37,903 procurement organizers in terms of the number of purchases made.

The number of competitive purchases increased by 18.2% compared to 2019. The average number of participants was 1,916, which is 18.35% more than last year. It allowed saving UAH 30,956,554, which is 10.55% of the total amount of purchases.

Thanks to the savings, UAH 15 million was allocated for current repairs for all University departments.
The number of completed procurements with only one participant decreased by 14%, and the number of bids increased to 2.65, which is 13.2% higher than the average in Ukraine.

The website of the Department of Property and Social Affairs has added analytics modules. The new update will provide greater openness and help track information on all University purchases and conduct analysis.

The “KPI Purchaser” system aims at all university departments, through which each one will have access to the system. The “KPI Purchaser” system will allow monitoring online at what stage an order is in procurement. The system is going to submit in March 2021.
