On the 7th of December the first Math Olympiad round was held in NTUU KPI. It was the qualifying stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Mathematics Olympiad. More than 600 students wrote tests.
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute students became winners of II stage of All-Ukrainian student competition "Inorganic substances chemical technology". The competition took place on "Ukranian state chemical technology university" site in Dnipro sity in May.

Students of Igor Sikorsky KPI became prize-winners of the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad on the specialty "Chemical Technologies of Inorganic Substances", which took place on the basis of the Ukrainian State Chemical Technology University (Dnipro).
The second stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad on the discipline “Strategic Management” was held on May 16-18, 2018, on the basis of the Department of Management of the Igor Sikorsky KPI.
In March the first university tour of All-Ukrainian Olympiad on theoretical mechanics was held at Igor Sikorsky KPI. The winners were three students of the second year of the mechanics and machine-building institute.
Traditionally, at the end of spring, the final round of the All-Ukrainian Mathematical Olympiad is held among technical and economic institutions of higher education of Ukraine. This year, it was held on the basis of Sumy State University for the fifth time.
