Igor O. Mikulonok is a researcher in of processes and equipment in polymers and plastics processing, processes and equipment of chemical technology. Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Honoured inventor of Ukraine. Professor of chemical, polymer and silica Engineering Department, National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute"
He was born January 29, 1963 in the village of Cementny, Bryansk region (Russia). Graduating the Faculty of Chemical Engineering Kiev Polytechnic Institute, he received the degree in Engineering (1986).

Igor Olegovitch worked at the Department of machines and devices of chemical and petroleum refinery NTUU"KPI" in positions of laboratory assistant, engineer, research assistant, assistant, associate professor, professor (since 1983).
From September 2011 he is the Professor of chemical, polymer and silicate machine engineering department . Along with teaching he worked as Deputy Dean of the educational work of the chemical engineering faculty (1999-2003), Vice-rector on scientific and pedagogical (educational) work, (2003-2007), Deputy Vice Rector - the head of educational-methodical directorate (since 2007).

I.O. Mikulonok defended his PhD (1991) and doctorate (2009) thesis. The name of his PhD thesis is "Processes and equipment processing of thermoplastic materials using secondary raw materials."

He is the author and co-author of nearly 200 of scientific articles and more than 500 of inventions and utility models, six monographs, two textbooks, about 20 textbooks and terminological dictionaries.
