October 30, The Fair of jobs was held in NTUU”KPI”. This event gathers representatives of industries, business leaders and companies and representatives of the administration and all the educational departments of the University with the aim of developing partnerships between NTUU"KPI" and businesses for the long term.
Deputy Vice Rector Prof. V.I.Timofeev briefed an audience on measures to ensure the quality of education at the University, expressed his willingness to continue to adapt the curriculum to meet the requirements of the labor market and appealed to the representatives of enterprises and companies with an proposal to give students the opportunity for practical application of knowledge and skills on the basis of the leading companies of Ukraine.
The director SIC Applied Sociology "Sotsioplyus" A.Ishchenko presented the data of the specialists KPI quality training through its estimation by employers. As before, they highly evaluate young professionals: fully meets the qualification requirements to work (55%); the overall level of training - high (57%). Among the advantages of KPI students are called a willingness to learn, ability to work in a team and to maintain discipline. Among the disadvantages - lack of practical training, skills on official documents, insufficient knowledge of foreign languages. High rates of specialists training are a guarantee that requests for certain areas of training will exceed supply.
Then the representatives of enterprises and companies informed the fair representatives about their companies and offers of employment. They, in particular, characterized graduates KPI as good professionals, thanked the faculty-professors for quality work and encouraged students to acquire diligently a profession and be willing to learn more. Head of Department of the Institute of Electric Welding of Paton NAS of Ukraine Dr.Sci.Tech L.B.Medovar told that about 100 masters KPI annually come to work in academic institutions of NASU. He said that in his Electrometallurgy Department there are new technologies, new equipment. Here they produce unique products by electro slag remelting. Deputy Director of the serial plant "Antonov" V.I.Astashkin spoke of fruitful cooperation with IME, FW, FIDE and about new types of aircraft, which are manufactured at the plant. The general director of LLC "Progresteh-Ukraine" A.R.Fialkovsky satisfied with his staff. Most of them graduated KPI, because together with IME the it was opened a training center for the preparing specialists for this company. Deputy Director of JSC "Rivne Nitrogen" S.O.Grigorev asked for a work not only graduates FCT, but also specialist in the energy and electronics, spoke about the stages of admission of young professionals in the production team. Manager of Educational Programs «Miratex» K.Kupriyanova noted that with KPI nice work, its graduates learn quickly and show good results at work. The head of the company "Engineering logic" O.V.Rozumovsky spoke of deep basic training graduates KPI, their open-mindedness and range of knowledge, contributes to successful work. A representative of the DAAD Information Centre R.Shvayka told about educational programs and scholarships, which offer education in Germany. Incidentally, in the Hall of the Academic Council of the University, where the Fair took place, posters and tables with information materials of companies and enterprises and stands faculties and institutes of NTUU "KPI" were installed, so employers and their potential colleagues vividly communicated before the event and during breaks.
After the common part of the Fair, its work was moved in Faculties and Departments of NTUU "KPI", where the heads of the relevant departments discussed with partners specific issues of cooperation.
