October 21 active students NTUU"KPI" met in the hall of the Academic Council with the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Dmitry Bulatov. The conversation took place in a relaxed atmosphere in the form of questions and answers. The greatest students’ interest was caused by the project for future reform in the field of sports and physical culture. This reform is a joint project of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the sports community - Federations and the National Olympic Committee.
Dmitry Bulatov in the beginning of the meeting recalled that not so long ago he was a student of the KPI. Talking about his work, he elaborated on certain aspects of the industry reform that relate to the activities of the ministry. In particular, certain management functions for sports, namely, distribution and financing in the manual mode, the national team of approval, the approval of the rules and organization of the event - will be transferred to the NOC and the Federation. Recently, a working group on reforms in sport and culture after many months of work finally presented the concept, which has to raise Ukrainian sport to a higher level. "Reform in the sport - it's not only the number of Olympic medals. This is primarily a healthy nation," - said Dmitry Bulatov.
