September 6, 2014, a solemn ritual of taking the Oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people by the students of the 2nd year of the Institute of Special Communication and Information Security of National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" (hereinafter - the Institute) was held in the territory of the memorial complex "The National Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945".
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, the State Guard of Ukraine, local authorities, Institute and troops for government communications veterans, parents and close relatives of the personnel of the Institute, the other guests.
The ritual of taking the oath began with the general alignment of the personnel of the Institute, and report of the deputy chief of the Institute for Education and Science, State Special Communicaton Service Lieutenant Colonel S.M. Konyushkov to the Head of Institute State Special Communication Service Major-General S.J. Piskun.
After the bearing out the Institute Service Banner the students 2nd year to the beat of the snare drum marched to occupy the place to take the oath.
With obvious excitement the students read the oath, because this oath is not an empty sound for them, and proof of this is their willingness to fulfill their duties to continuously improve professional skills with high responsibility and to remain faithful to the Ukrainian people.
On this day 133 students of the Institute have taken the oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people. Holiday was continuing. Following the report of the chief of the 2nd year of Institute State Special Communication Service Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Dudenkov on the taking of the Oath by the personnel , Major General S.J. Piskun congratulated the staff of the course with the taking of the oath, and the special staff of the Institute - with the completion of its personnel. Extended "Glory" sounded three times along the personnel array of the Institute.
Congratulations to the students were given by: Head of the Institute, Major General S.J.Piskun, Head of Family, Youth and Sports of the Pechersk District State Administration G.V.Fartuchna, general director of "Alcatel Lucent Ukraine" O.A.Hahlyuk; on behalf of the staff of the 5th year of the Institute - Private T.S.Zaporozhets; on behalf of the staff of the 2nd year of the Institute - the Private Y.V. Canarskiy; on behalf of the family - the mother of a cadet 2nd course Private A.I. Didenko - N.V.Didenko; Archbishop Belogorodskiy, Vicar of the Kyiv Metropolitan of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Bishop Micolay.
Then the blessing and consecration of young recruits with the award of holy images was carried out.
After the solemn march of the Institute special personnel, there were numerous applause and memorable photos.
It remains only to say thanks to all those who helped to organize this holiday for the cadets, their parents and close relatives, namely the management and staff of the memorial complex "The National Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", Command and military orchestra of the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information of the State University of Telecommunications.
