28 August, 2014, a regular annual session of the academic staff NTUU"KPI" was held in Culture and Arts Center.
At the beginning of the meeting Vice-Rector NTUU"KPI" NAS of Ukraine academician Yuri Yakimenko warmly congratulated those present on the 23rd anniversary of Ukraine's independence and the new 2013/14 academic year. A moment of silence, the meeting paid tribute to the teachers and staff of the University, who passed away during the past school year.
Rector NTUU "KPI" NAS of Ukraine academician Michael Zgurovsky made a report on the outcome of the work of the University in the academic year 2013/14 . He presented the main achievements of the collective for the year in all areas of university activity - educational, scientific, international, business. Concluding his report, the Rector formulated the main tasks of the university in the context of the introduction into the life standards of the new Law "On Higher Education", which comes into effect from 6 September 2014.
Further Rector congratulated the winners of the annual contest NTUU"KPI" for the best manual, textbook and monograph and presented them with diplomas of winners.
At the end of the meeting there was a presentation to our university certificate from the National Registry of Records of Ukraine. NTUU"KPI" was included in the National Register of Records of Ukraine for the development and launch of the first national university nanosatellite "PolyITAN-1." Chief expert of the National Register Vitaliy Zorin handed Michael Zgurovsky the honorary document.
