December 21, 2013 at the Center for International Education "KPI" Christmas Party took place. There are students and attendants of Preparatory Department presented the cuisines of the countries.
Participants of evening sessions not only learned the recipes of Azerbaijan, Vietnam, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, but also listen to national songs, jokes, become partakers of fun entertainment.
Director of the Center for International Education "KPI" Boris Tsyhanok greeted guests with the upcoming New Year and wished interesting vacation.
The evening turned out to be a success. Especially liked the audience staged Ukrainian folk song "And my dear varenichki wanted" by the group "Golden Wisp" - students of the Institute of History Education NPU named after M. Dragomanov (art director - Nikolay Yaretyk) and Ohuldzhennet Pashov, a student of 1st year student of the Faculty of Sociology and Law "KPI" from Turkmenistan. Also I am pleased to present tasted dumplings that the future teachers have prepared. It turned out that the foreigners are familiar with the Ukrainian dishes (borcshch, pampushki, dumplings) and even know how to cook them.
Students of the preparatory department from Ecuador - Fier Andachi Johnny Muarisio, Cedeño Zambrano Dolores Araseli, Hahuansela Carmen Luis, Andriana Araseli Kalvopina Heras, Ricardo Javier Cardenas Guzman - produced written congratulations international family "KPI", presented national carnival mask. Head Cuvi Moyisesa of Brotherhood Bustamante told about cooking recipes represented dishes and beverages.
Participants did not leave indifferent and the presentation of the Vietnam cuisine. The national dish "nam" relished by all. Student of the 5th year of the Faculty of Electronics Tran Thi Kim Ngoc told about the features cooking (story accompanied by slide show and video). National costume Nyunh Nguyen Thi, student of 6th year of engineering and chemistry department, added the presentation the national colors.
Students of the Faculty of Management and Marketing Zhang Lu and Chiayi Nannan from China, Gulnara Mehdiyeva from Azerbaijan and Myahri Meredov from Turkmenistan with the cuisines represented their countries. Participants will gladly tasted Chinese and Turkmen plov. Everyone were also interested in Chinese recipe of peas. Lovers of sweets with pleasure tasted Azerbaijani baklava.
Musical greeting prepared a representative of Equatorial Guinea, a student of the 1st year faculty of electronics and automation Nsue Magnani Byndanh Thomas.
Our students are well aware that in 2014 - the year of the 200th anniversary of genius of Ukrainian poetry is Taras Shevchenko and performed the song in his words, "Roars and Moans wide Dnepr".
Fun and games - a required element of Ukrainian evening sessions. The same is the key attribute of Maslenitsa celebration (celebration with the winter meetings in spring) in Russia. So presented the national dish of Russia - pancakes, Dima Avdeev, 1st year student of Institute of Special Communication and Information Protection, together with the girls from Kazakhstan, students of the 1st year Mirhul Sadykova, Madina Umbetovoyu and Zhanar Srymovoyu held a contest for the best fan of pancakes with sour cream. The participants enjoyed the taste. However, it got even more pleasure the audience to watch the boys and girls blindly fed each other. After the completion of the contest organizers performed the Kazakh song "Congratulations, the capital." The rhythmic song performed professionally has captivated hearts of the audience. And we enjoy the fact that this year, led by Eugenia Baraboshynoyi born international vocal ensemble that combined students "KPI".
It was felt that the participants had interesting evening sessions to each other, familiarity with national cuisine, expanded knowledge of the life of the peoples of different countries, and culture dialogue will continue even after the Christmas celebrations.
