On February 10, 2014 the regular meeting of the Academic Council took place. It began with congratulating the Head of electromechanical equipment energy-intensive industries Ph.D., Professor S. Shevchuk and Head of the Department of Economics and Finance L.H.Subbotina on their anniversaries.
This was followed by presenting diploma of "Honorary Doctor of NTUU “KPI "mantle and memorials to Boris S. Stohniy. The ceremony was attended by Director of IESEM S.P. Denysyuk and FEPEA Dean O. Yandulskyi.
The next item on the agenda was the report by vice-rector in scientific and pedagogical work S.I.Sydorenko on the results of international activities of the university in 2013 and the tasks for 2014. Sergei told that scientists and professors of NTUU "KPI" represented Ukraine in 38 countries, and we were visited by the delegations from 43 countries. It was also reported on the work done with ambassadors from Poland, France, Canada, USA, China, Japan, Norway and other countries. In addition, the characteristics of Ukrainian-Japanese Center were presented and it was informed about the signing of cooperation agreements.
After that, members of the Academic Council of NTUU "KPI" reviewed the report about the prospects for development for 2013 of the Vice-Rector A.N. Novikov and guidance for activities in 2014 Alexei Nikolaevich outlined the main directions of the department of perspective development, including: KPI development strategy, the development of the property complex, informatization of managing activities, work with student organizations , activities under the "Future of Ukraine" and improving CRS system security University. Both reports were approved by the vice-chancellors.
