On December 2, 2013 was held the regular meeting of the Academic council of university. It began with congratulations on birthday of the head of Department of Reprography, the Dr.Sci.Tech., professor O.M.Velichko and the head of the Department of Applied Mechanics the Dr.Sci.Tech., professor Yu.M.Danilchenko.
Then there was the presentation of a diploma and a silver medal of the IX International salon of inventions and new technologies "Modern times" and rewarding of winners of the VI All-Ukrainian competition of student's scientific works on actual problems of the packing industry.
Later the members of the Academic council were hearing the allocution of the chairman of students’ trade-union committee A.Yu.Gavrushkevich concerning cruel beating by the police Special Forces on the night of November, 30 and information on participation of the university students in a peace mass move which was held in Kiev after this event. On this occasion the Academic council of NTUU "KPI" made the relevant decision.
The ratification of Enrolment Regulations in university in 2014 was the first question of the agenda. The report was made by the first pro-rector Yu.I.Yakimenko. He noted that last year's rules generally remained. Yury Ivanovich informed about terms of documents acceptance and entrance examinations. Besides, he announced the list of competitive subjects in the certificate of the Ukrainian center of estimation of education quality (entrance examinations, creative contests).
Then there was the ratification of results of competition among lecturers in the nominations "The lecturer-researcher - 2013" and "The Young lecturer- researcher - 2013" of NTUU "KPI". The report was made by pro-rector M.Yu.Ilchenko. 86 people took part in competition in 2013. Special attention was given to the results of work on three directions: 1) execution of the scientific research work; 2) preparation of scientific staff - defence of theses, scientific work; 3) productivity of the nominee.
Informing on a consideration condition of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of certification affairs of scientific degrees competitors and academic statuses was the third question of the agenda. The report was made by pro-rector M.Yu.Ilchenko. He informed about violation of terms of certification affairs consideration and procedural matter that affirms about prejudiced and negative attitude to NTUU "KPI". After detailed consideration of a question the Academic council accepted to express objections concerning illegal actions of the staff of the Ministry regarding the violations of points of order made by them and established periods of certification affairs consideration.
At the end competitive questions and current affairs were considered.
