From 19 to 22 November, 2013 in the International Exhibition Center (Kyiv, 15 Brovarskiy Prosp.) XII International Industrial Forum 2013 took place. This is the only industrial exhibition in Ukraine, which belongs to the list of top industrial exhibitions, officially recognized by UFI (Global Association of the Exhibition Industry). LLC "International Exhibition Center" supported by the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine and the Ukrainian national company "Ukrverstatoinstrument" acted as organizers of the forum. The official opening of the Forum was held in November 19, 2013. Participants in the ceremony were members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the leadership of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine, the National Company "Ukrverstatoinstrument" and other departments as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps.
The Forum, consisted of interrelated specialized exhibitions held VI International specialized exhibition called "Metal. Tool. Plastics." There advanced technologies, equipment, tools, parts and operation of their equipment were demonstrated by domestic and foreign companies.
NTUU "KPI" also took part in the exhibition and demonstrated new developments and technology of its scientists. Among presented exhibits a particular interest for visitors raised models of small milling machine frame structure with computer control (head scientific field - Professor of designing tools and machines Yu.M.Kuznyetsov MMI ) as well as new laser technology: laser processing of hot-gas coatings laser termodistortion strengthening products, improvement of the efficiency of chemical and thermal processing of laser surface modification , laser forming of metal spatial structures of complex configuration (head scientific field - Professor of laser technology and physics and engineering technology L.F.Holovko MMI ).
Visitors of the exhibition were also presented with interesting exhibits by Department of Welding and the Department of Automation Heat Generating Processes. The exhibition is accompanied by teachers and students from many departments of KPI. The exhibition had received many proposals for exchange of experience and establishment of commercial relations.
