The traditional exhibition of professions "KPI invites to cooperation" was held at NTUU "KPI" on October 31. Its format is slightly different from similar events, which are usually held only in poster mode when the applicants and their prospective employers communicate directly from the information boards of the enterprises and mostly only discuss working conditions and wages.

Of course, such communication is happening today, but the challenges posed by the organizers were larger than a simple business meeting in the same room tomorrow's graduates with representatives of enterprises and organizations. The main goal was the introduction of effective forms of cooperation NTUU "KPI" with enterprises and organizations and building strong, mutually beneficial and interesting contacts .Not just for one day of the exhibition, and in the long term. Therefore exhibition began with a plenary session in the Hall of the Academic Council of NTUU "KPI". It was attended by employers, the university administration and teachers and of course students.

The first vice rector of NTUU "KPI" NAS academician Yuri Yakimenko opened the meeting. "Our exhibition is actually the beginning of a whole month of activities to establish and strengthen contacts between our university graduates and employers - he said in his speech. - We would like to see this cooperation has been fruitful, that it was organized in each of our division, each department. Therefore, today's meeting will consist of two parts. The first part deals with general issues, short presentations and performances, which apply to all our partners and faculties, and the second will begin near the stands of our enterprises and units exposed in this room, and continue directly with the faculties. We thank the representatives of the companies that participate in this event, and there were registered 118, and we hope that our cooperation in matters of employment will be effective, both now and in the coming years".

General information about the features of training in NTUU "KPI" and their present employment gave the deputy first vice rector – professor Vladimir Timofeev . He said that in recent years the popularity of KPI entrants have been increasing steadily in the current campaign, receiving an average competition on applications for training in government contracts was 7.4 per place , whereas , say in 2008 it was 2.31 per place . The average request KPI graduates among employers remained consistently high and it is now 123 % of the issue get a job that allows virtually everyone who graduated from the university. However, if the biggest competition of the applications observed in the humanities university and technical faculties, he is usually lower, then the issue is changing dramatically - the most in demand in the labor market today are just technicians, especially in information technology.

This, incidentally, demonstrated and presentations from companies who told about the nature, working conditions and career prospects of young professionals, as well as what is expected from employers of university graduates. The presentation of the Deputy Director of the Research Center for Applied Sociology "Sotsioplyus " NTU "KPI" Anna Ishchenko was interesting. She presented the results of the latest monitoring the quality of graduates KPI, which since 2008 is held by the organization. His respondents were 785 employers of various industries, and it was used quantitative and qualitative methodology with continuous nature of the research, so the accuracy of the data is quite high. The fact that nearly 46 % of employers in their own estimation is now extremely urgent need of qualified personnel, that is not only graduates looking for work, looking for work but also work looks them. The only thing is that in order to get it, young professionals should have certain qualifications, skill and desire to learn more. The most preferred employers are graduates of NTU "KPI", Kiev National Taras Shevchenko University, and several other well-known Ukrainian universities.
