The 115-year "KPI", 20 - Department of Telecommunications and the 10th anniversary of the Institute of telecommunication systems, continuing the tradition of predecessors, ITS students showed a high level of training in academic competitions and contests in "Telecommunications".

On 22 March the theses competition in specialty "Telecommunication systems and networks" at the Odessa National A.S. Popov Academy of communications (ONAC) was attended by two students of ITS: A.Peshkin (gr.TS-71m) with work under the motto "Shannon" and O.Natalenko (gr.TS-71m) - "robustness". Congratulations Anton Pyeshkin who receives the second consecutive year 3rd level diploma!

Two significant events happened in April 2013, attended by students of ITS who showed high results. This is the 2nd round of Ukrainian competition of student research papers at the sphere "Radiotechnics" at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, which took place on April 23. In conclusion student of the gr. TC-73m Y.Ohrimenko obtained 2nd degree diploma for work "Bearing" and student of the gr. TC-81m A. Lavrynenko obtained the diploma of 3rd degree for work "microwave repeater." Congratulations with honorable achievements!

The second round of the Ukrainian Academic Competition took place on April 24-26, year 2013 at the Odessa National A.S. Popov Academy of communications (ONAC). Odessa happily received participants from many Ukrainian cities. Students had the opportunity to socialize and compete with their rivals from different universities. The ITS representative Sergey Kashuba (gr.TC-81m) gained first place in the individual competition in the sphere"Telecommunication systems and networks." By the way, last year, Sergei took 2nd place in the same discipline. Congratulations to Sergey and we wish him to continue success! Oksana Pryvar (gr. IT-91) and Anna Chizhevskogo (hr.TS-93) obtained diplomas "For original solution of the problem." Well done girls, keep it up!

In addition, the organizers took care of diverse leisure activities for participants, they had the opportunity to meet the unique coastal city, its museums and local traditions. Participating in competitions is the great opportunity for intellectual growth, and an active and interesting holiday. So in the future we hope for agreeable competition future for ITS students!
