An art competition “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Talents», which was dedicated to the 120th birthday of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and was held in the exhibition hall in the 7th building from the 5th of November to the 13th of December 2018, has recently been solemnly closed. 60 students took part in this contest. The students, teachers, scientists and workers of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and under Center of Culture and Art “Harmony” studio members presented about 300 works. All visitors could get familiar with them. Among the contestants were both well-known participants at the university and those who presented their works for the first time. It’s worth admitting that many works in a genre of painting were dedicated to the 120th birthday of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

In the nomination “Painting” the first place was shared by the under Center of Culture and Art “Harmony” studio member Natalia Rasp, the Associate Professor of Theoretical and Applied Economics of FMM Maryna Dudchenko and the student of the 1st course f VPI Anastasia Ezhela. The second place was shared by the Senior Lecturer of the Geometry Chair of FMF Olga Lebedeva, studio member of Center of Culture and Art “Harmony” Natalia Parakhina, the staff member of Ukrainian-Polish Center Anna Bidniuk and the student of the 3rd course of VPI Olga Kovaleva. The third place was shared by the studio member of Center of Culture and Art “Harmony” Olena Lysak, the Senior Lecturer of the Geometry Chair Natalia Mikhlevska and the student of the 5th course of VPI Lyudmila Shesteerikova.

In the nomination “Decorative and Applied Arts” the first place was shared by the IEE laboratory assistant Volodymyr Pushkin, and the student of the 4th course of HTF Julia Mamchych. The staff member of Center of Culture and Art Olena Shesterikova won the 2nd place. The professor of the Geometry Chair of FMF Volodymyr Yurchuk won the 3rd place.

And, finally, in the nomination “Embroidery” the first place was given the Senior Lecturer of the Chair of Mathematical Physics Larysa Kotsiuk.

The winners of the contests got the diplomas, and all other participants – the letters of thanks.
