At the invitation of a partner of our university – the BMC consulting company in Beijing, during the period from January 11 to 21, a delegation led by the Dean of the FAKS, Professor O.V. Zbrutskyi, visited the People's Republic of China. The delegation consisted of specialists of the Department PSKLA, associate professor, Ph.D. of Technical Sciences M.G. Cherniak, associate professor, Ph.D. of Technical Sciences O. M. Bondarenko, Leading Engineer, FAKS International Projects Coordinator L.V. Stetsiuk. FAKS members met with representatives from the three institutes: Inner Mongolia Dynamic and Mechanical Institute, Hunan Aerospace Mechanic and Specials Research Institute, Kuian Mechanic Research Institute in Beijing and Hohhot. During the meetings they discussed the possible directions of co-operation in scientific and technical fields; agreements on further consultations on these issues were reached.
Members of the delegation provided presentational information about Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and, in particular, about their faculty.
In the meeting with all the participating organizations they also discussed issues of internship of Chinese specialists in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute according to the Licensing Office of the People's Republic of China for foreign specialists received by our university, the creation of joint educational and research laboratories and facilities.
