On June 26, 2017, a regular meeting of the Academic Board of our university took place. It started with the greetings of the heroes of an anniversary - the head of the Department of Optical and Optoelectronic Instruments, D.Sc. in engineering, professor V.G. Kolobrodov and the head of the department of media communications of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute D.L. Stefanovich.
After that, there was an award for the Day of Science. The lapel pin "Excellence of Education" was awarded to the head of the organizational and analytical department of the Research Department O.V. Savich, with the Honorary Certificates of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine – associate director of IPT for academic affairs U.M. Limonnik and Ph.D. in Engineering Science, senior associate S.V. Lievyi, Gratitude of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine – research fellow of TEF, M.F. Bayskov. It was also informed about the awarding of the honorary title "Honored Inventor of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” to the professor of ITS L.O. Urivsky.
The main issue of the agenda was the report of the first vice-rector U.I.Yakymenko about the organization of admission to the university during the summer period. Yuri Ivanovich provided information about the stages of the admissions campaign for the first and fifth courses in 2017.
In addition, the stages of the admission campaign for postgraduate study were announced. Documents will be accepted from August 25 to August 31, 2017. Entrance tests will be held from September 1 to September 12, 2017. The rating list will be manifested not later than September 15, 2017.
Finally, the competition issues and current affairs were considered.
