Modern digital gadgets and new models of phototechnique allow even inexperienced users to make high-quality photos. The more valuable is the ability to extract a shot from the everything seen and fix it in such a way that viewers would say "wow" and react with "like" in Instagram. The recent photo contest "Talents of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" announced the names of amateur photographers who weren't lazy and afraid to show their work to public. In particular, the second place in the art photo contest was taken by Oleksandr Haluzinskyi, student of the 3rd year, EBF faculty.

"This was my first photo contest," Oleksandr says. "When I was in the second year of studying, I heard that at the Department of Instrumentation Design and Engineerin, there is a photo club, working under the guidance of Serhii Oleksiiovych Nechai. Of course, I was interested because I have been taking pictures since school days. I went to the photo club almost with no thinking and there acquired valuable skills that helped me to win the contest.

In the future, the young man plans to practice his profession - be engaged in the designing of measurement devices. This is a rather interesting work area, he believes. Being asked about the favorite subject, Oleksandr was hesitating and didn't name it, because everything was interesting in its own way. Oleksandr is open to everything new, he likes to explore still the unknown. He leads an active lifestyle: hiking and cycling, traveling. It helps to сatch a good shot. Sometimes it takes a while to make a good photo. Oleksandr is keen on active games - football, basketball, etc. He is also intrested in new releases, music, books and fishing.

Oleksandr loves nature and architecture, mostly photographs the landscapes of cities, other locations, their suburbs. The play on forms, and styles, light and color in his works shows growing skills. Recently, he has been interested in portrait photography.
