From 1st September 2018 Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute overpays the access to 11 thematic databases EBSCO Publishing`s company. The company is on the information products and informational-library`s market over 70 years, it`s collection of periodical editions counts over than 10000 names, some publications was written in 19th century. The books collection that is in online format is about 1million names.
In 12th March 2019 in S-TB named after D.I.Denysenko the seminar ‘‘The effective use of an EbscoHOST`s databases in researches’’ has taken place. The event has about 40 participants from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and other Kyiv IHE. A reporter is a director of association ‘‘Informatio-Consortium’’ Candidate of Engineering Sciences O.V.Vasyliev was talking about: the problem of getting the full information from resources, factors that will help you to provide a successful use of EbscoHost`s databases in our university, processing the search`s results and saving them etc.
