October 25-27  in Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth was held  the Eighth international forum "Innovation in modern education – 2016” with the participation of the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine.

"Innovation in modern education" is the largest in Ukraine representative professional forum of educational, scientific and scientific-technical innovation, which since 2009 introduces the achievement of national and foreign educational institutions; expositions of manufacturers and suppliers of educational equipment and technical means, innovative programs and solutions for education; scientific-practical conferences, seminars, presentations on main problems of modern education development.

During the international forum, there was announced a competition in thematic nomination "Innovations in intensification of international cooperation in education, science and culture", where was presented materials created by the team of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in the process of implementation of the project Tempus IV "Biomedical engineering education Tempus initiative in Eastern Partnership region", the reference number of  the project is BME-ENA" 543904-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-GR-TEMPUS-JPGR what is created with funding from the European Commission. Project Manager is the first Vice-rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, academician of the NAS of Ukraine Yuriy Yakymenko, project coordinator in Ukraine is associate Professor of Department of microelectronics A. T. Orlov. For the competition there was presented an educational complex created as part of the project and consisting of study guide "Electronic methods and tools for biomedical measurements", published with label of Academic Council of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (protocol number 6 of 16. 05. 2016) and computerized complex  of lab "Biomedical sensors and processing of biomedical signals."

The winner of the competition in the thematic nomination "Innovations in intensification of international cooperation in education, science and culture" were writing team of an educational complex consisting of  academician of NAS of Ukraine Y. I. Yakymenko, associate professors of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute T. A. Orlova and V. M. Spyvak and Professor of Dneprodzerzhinsk State Technical University S. K. Meshchanynova.

Winners were awarded the laureate diploma of the 1st degree of the National contest exhibition "Outstanding scientific and practical achievements in education".
