State polytechnic museum of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute increased its collection of new interesting exhibit items. The head of Supervision Board of "Kyivenergo" OJSC, famous public person and politician Ivan Plachkov presented his collection of radio receivers, tape recorders and TV sets to the university. Among artifacts are radio receivers and radio phonograms of 70th, XX century, Soviet black and white TV sets and first cable box "KVN" with lens, reel-to-reel recorders of different models. According to the gifts giver, he hold this collection in his office that evoked some interest and some memories in other people. Thus, he decided to give it to the museum so that more people could see it. When asked about the most valuable and the oldest exhibit item of this collection, Ivan Plachkov answered: "My proudness is the oldest and perhaps the most interesting exhibit item. This is remote controller radio phonogram "Festival", produced in 1961- is the proudness of Soviet radio technology. One more interesting exhibit item is tele radio phonogram, so called "three in one" device - TV set, record player and radio receiver. But, actually, they are all interesting". 

Official opening of new exposition will be hold a bit later after attributing of new exhibit items and their placement in museum.
