On 5-6 October 2016 "KPI after. Igor Sikorsky" was visited by the delegation Hunan Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals (PRC) headed by President Chen Wei. The visit was organized by Pekinskiy Navy International Training and Consultation Centre and the Faculty of aviation and space systems. From "KPI after. Igor Sikorsky" the meeting was attended by First Deputy Rector Yu.I.Yakymenko, Vice-Rector for International Relations S.I.Sydorenko, Fax O.V.Zbrutskyy Dean, Dean IFB P.I.Loboda, Deputy . IFB Yu.I.Bohomol Dean, Dean S.K.Fomichov FS, FS I.V.Smirnov professor, senior engineer of Department of Theoretical Mechanics FAX manager of international projects L.V.Stetsyuk.
During the visit the delegation of China was informed with our univercity and with the exposure of Aviation and Cosmonautics Department. Igor Sikorsky.
During the meeting, were made presentations "KPI after. Igor Sikorsky" about modern advancements in materials. President of Hunan Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals Chen Wei told about the activities of the institute and put forward proposals for cooperation.
As a result of the exchange of information was signed Minutes of the meeting.
The parties agreed prepare the Agreement about the cooperation in the field of new materials and technologies, including superhard materials and alloys, electrodes of electric power sources; preparing the professionals, programs of mobility students and employees, realization of scientific events (conferences, seminars, workshops).
Also with the help of our university the delegation Hunan Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals visited the Institute of Problems of materials after. I.M.Frantsevycha NAS of Ukraine.
