The first in the new school year meeting of the trade union committee of employees NTUU "KPI" Igor Sikorsky was held September 8, 2016 in the hall of the Academic Council.
The agenda included questions of features of a present situation (speaker V. I. Molchanov), the organization of improving actions in the Center of physical training and sport of university (speaker O. I. Sheyko), etc.
The chairman of trade-union committee V. I. Molchanov informed on the course of negotiation campaign between Federation of labor unions and the Government of Ukraine as a result of which legislative practice of the conclusion of the General agreement regulating the basic principles of labor and social and economic policy between workers, employers and the state was resumed. This time the General agreement for 2016-2017. It is signed on August 23, and it came into force from the moment of signing.
Important question, it was considered at a meeting, a position of labor unions about increase of the tariffs for heating, hot and cold water, the electric power, gas, etc. entered by decisions of the Government and National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities. As actually new tariffs it is a little delayed in operation, in connection with the beginning of a heating season since October 1, the population of Ukraine not quite felt negative consequences of their introduction. The cost of utilities on average increased by 2,5 times, and for educators it can reach to 50% of the monthly cumulative income. Labor unions carried out on July 6 a precautionary protest action in which about 35 000 people, including more than 400 workers of KPI participated. The decision of the government on increase of pension for 10% since September 1 and social standards - since December 1 became result of an action. However the ratio between a salary and a payment for utilities, even taking into account increase, remains unacceptable. Promises of the power to carry out charges of housing subsidies to families with the low income actually substitution of concepts and enters the grant of an oligarchical heat power lobby at the expense of taxpayers. Besides introduction of such subsidies significantly breaks social justice as demands that highly skilled educators, health care, metallurgy, etc. - which have to be middle class of the country - didn't receive appropriate increase of compensation, and in case of the accounting of an overall cost of utilities they will remain with the same minimum level of providing, as well as unskilled workers to whom the state compensates utilities.
Current economic cheating continues a long tradition of political committees of independent Ukraine. Therefore V.I.Molchanov urged unionists to carry out explanatory work among university employees and encourage the active participation in protest actions will be organized in the fall. for workers in universities is extremely important, because utilities, for example NTUU "KPI" Igor Sikorsky increased 1.8 times, unfunded in the budget target for this year and may, according to the government, to be paid at the expense of own revenue universities from providing educational services. In this case, teachers and other categories of workers will not be able to fully receive funds for training students of the contract, and on the improvement of the extremely outdated material and technical base and repair of speech does not go. Therefore, on the initiative of the KPI was prepared an appeal from 14 universities balance murals by an additional provision of funds from the State budget for utilities.
On the second item of the agenda, the Deputy Head of the Trade Union and Sheyko reported the results of a health campaign in the University, the sum of financial results and estimate the development of recreation in 2017 with the account earned each base. In spite of the known issues with the condition and functioning of University recreation, wellness season passed on the satisfactory level.
The result of the discussion was approved key provisions of order visits by employees of NTUU "KPI Igor Sikorsky" pool CFVIS. This year, scientific-educational, pedagogical and scientific workers (including practitioners) according to the schedule of the basin will be 4 times a month, starting from October 1, free access to the swimming pool. Other categories of workers such a possibility will be provided with 50 percent pay the cost (the rest of compensate for the Trade Union Committee). Trade Union Bureau units have to provide all workers the appropriate certificates for the swimming pool.
Deputy Chairman of the trade union V.O.Korsakov informed of the results of the Ukrainian public review competition among universities on the state of labor, in which staff of NTUU "KPI Igor Sikorsky," declared the winner and awarded a diploma of the 1st degree.
