Marcin Holub, the professor of the West Pomeranian University of Technology Szczecin, Poland,visited “KPI” due to international academic mobility called "Erazmus” during 22-25 February 2016 y.The organization of Marcin Holub arrival was the main task of the academic mobility department, department of electronics, industrial electronics department, and representatives of the student council .
During the visit, guest had the first official meetings with the first vice-rector of the “KPI”- Y. Yakimenko, with with a dean of the faculty of electronics V. Zhuikov, head of the department of industrial electronics Y. Yamnenko.
According to the plan of academic mobility, signed by representatives of both universities, Professor Dove gave lectures to students, postgraduates, and professors of the faculty of electronics and from other faculties of the "KPI". Topics of the lectures were devoted to presentations about Technology university of Western Pomerania, and in particular to the faculty of electrical engineering. Students and graduate students learned about the possibility of student exchanges, material and laboratory facilities, subjects of the curricula and educational offers from the Polish university. For teachers it was useful to learn about the features of the educational process, methodical support and pedagogical practices in universities.
For students of specialty "Electronic systems" department of industrial electronics lectures about current trends in power electronics, electrical engineering, renewable energy, automation and robotics seemed the most interesting and useful.
For the Polish guest cultural program was organized with sightseeing of Ukrainian capital (Independence Square, Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, St. Sophia and St. Michael cathedrals, etc.),and of cause with the view of night Kiev, and visiting the National Opera.
