State Tax Inspection in Solomenskiy district in the General Directorate of SFS in Kyiv(and then STI) is a regional body of SFS which is subordinated to SFS and General Directorate of SFS in Kyiv.
STI provides the implementation of SFS authority in the territory of the administrative-territorial units. STI is guided by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, decrees of the President and resolutions of the Verhovna Rada of Ukraine in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the Ministry of Finance, within the competence of SFS, orders of SFS and GD SFS, other legislative acts of Ukraine.
The main tasks of STI is to ensure the implementation of state tax policy, state policy in the fight against crimes in the application of tax laws within the authority provided by law, to control the flow to budgets and state trust funds of taxes and fees and other payments, the state policy in the sphere of control over the production and circulation of alcohol, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, to regulate state policy as for administration of the single tax and fight against crimes in the application of the legislation on the payment of a single fee, state policy in the sphere of control of the timely payments in foreign currency in statutory term, compliance with the order of cash payments for goods (services), to control availability of licenses for implementation of economic activities which confirm to licensing in accordance with the law and trade patents.
