October 15, 2015 in NTUU "KPI" was meeting of Scientifically-organizing Committee of the International Forum "Lessons of Chernobyl for nuclear world security" chaired by the rector of NTUU "KPI" M.Z. Zgurovsky and General Director of SSE "Chornobyl NPP" I.I. Gramotkin.
The Deputy of co-chair scientifically-organizing committee of forum, pro-rector of NTUU "KPI" S. Sydorenko informed about the preparations for the Forum.
In a discussion result was approved the composition of governing bodies Forum, draft program Forum, content of the first information message and project budget.
Also discussed the subject of reports in plenary meetings and the participants. There was a proposal to invite to speak at the forum of Nobel Laureate for Literature in 2015 the Ukrainian writer (was born in Ivano-Frankivsk) Svetlana Alexandrovna Alexievich - author of "Chernobyl Prayer" and other (Belarus), Director of the Nuclear Safety Department of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Vince Novak, General Director of the Research Institute of Radiation Protection of the Academy of Technological Sciences of Ukraine Ilya Aronovych Lihtarova and other international and national experts, whose scientific and professional activities are closely related to the subject of the Chernobyl disaster.
It was also agreed the current organizational solutions.
