VI International conference “Theoretical and practical problems in materials processing by pressure and professional education quality” started its work in December, 14 in NTUU “KPI”, the conference devoted to 85th anniversary of the chair of materials processing by pressure in NTUU “KPI”.
Specialists from India, Russia, Poland, 10 cities of Ukraine as well as scientists and students of KPI take part in the conference. There are supposed to be 22 plenary reports and 60 sectional reports. Director of Mechanical engineering institute of National technical university of Ukraine “KPI”, correspondent member of Ukrainian NAS, professor M. I. Bobyr welcomed the participants at the opening ceremony.
The first report at the plenary session was devoted to the renowned mechanical engineer Oleksii Antonovych Iliushyn – Soviet scientist in the field of mechanics of solid media, correspondent member of USSR AS, current member of Academy of artillery sciences, the author of works on theory of power and ductility. The speech was delivered by Candidate of Technical sciences, associate professor I. G. Savchynskyi from Vinnytsia national technical university. Other report related only to professional issues of topic under discussion.
The following days participants will be working by sections “Theoretical and practical problems in cold volume and sheet press operation as well as professional education quality”, “Theoretical problems of materials possessing by pressure and practical problems in hot volume press operation and rolling”.
In terms of conference a scientific seminar will be held along with listening to the materials of PhD thesis on the following topics:
Research and development of rolling process of powder material stripes;
Scientific argumentation and methodology of engineering and analytical calculation and designing of hydraulic presses;
Consideration of temporization phenomena in construction mechanics
The conference is continued till December, 18.
