In the first national competition leaders active and eco-tourism, conducted by the Ukrainian Association of active and eco-tourism, tourist club "KPI" "Globe" has won two awards: Best tour club 2014 and the best school of training active tourism personnel. Leaders in fifteen nominations were identified by online voting and assessment of expert jury.
The official award ceremony of the competition winners was held March 26 2015 at UITT- Ukraine's main tourist exhibition, held at the International Exhibition Center. Kiev Polytechnic on this ceremony was presented by Margaret Sakova, the head of the club’s info department. She thanked the organizers of the competition for the opportunity to present their achievements and share them with others; all Polytechnics, who by their efforts provided a high rating of the club, as well as all those who took part in the vote.
