In, June 14-18 2016 there was  a coordination meeting of the project NETCENG (http: //netceng.eu) by TEMPUS program held in Vilnius technical university Hedeminasa (VGTU).

The aim of the NETCENG project - development and implementation of a new model of the third cycle of engineering education in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine according to the Bologna process.

Project consortium includes universities of these countries as well as Germany, Great Britain, Lithuania - thirteen universities in total.

Project coordinator on behalf of  "KPI" university, Dean of FAX, Professor O. Zbrutsky reported on 30 months work of the project. It was noted that according to the plan of project activities, in our university there was an DLM office (Ph.D. at labor market) created, which analyzes the needs of employers in Ph.D., summarizes their requirements for the competence and qualification of doctors.  Education modules designed by partner universities - Technical University of Berlin, Vilnius Technical University, Brunel University London are included into Masters curricula and syllabi of PhD. Two textbooks have been published for Ph.D training according to project program.  10 doctoral candidates and their research advisors attended summer doctoral schools in Vilnius, Berlin and London, where they exchanged experience of their Ph.D. thesis materials preparation  and had tutorial workshops for doctoral candidates.

In the format of Coordination Meeting there was a meeting between prof. O. Zbrutskyi and pro-rector for international relations of Vilnius Technical University, Dr. Asts Radzeviciene involving general manager of project, A.Shterenharz, where issues  of double degree Ph.D and Master programs between our universities were being discussed.

The leading engineer of the Department of Theoretical Mechanics, responsible for the NETCENG project implementation in our the University , L.V.Stetsyuk, PhD candidate of  PSKLA, V.O.Apostolyuk took part in summer doctoral school. The work of the summer doctoral school attended by

Presentations of thesis of doctoral  candidates - members of the school as well as speeches of their research advisors who presented candidates’  thesis reviews, were the part of the summer school program.
