Ukrainian-Polish Center of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" was created according to the "Framework Agreement on the establishment of Ukrainian-Polish center NTUU "KPI" on March 7, 2008 between the Polish Educational Foundation "PERSPEKTYWY" in the person of President V.Sivinsky and the National Technical University Ukraine "Kiev Polytechnic Institute" in the face of the Rector M. Z. Zgurovsky.

The main objectives of the Centre:

  • promote further development of cooperation of educational and scientific spheres of the Republic of Poland and Ukraine, economic and social prosperity of our countries;
  • support the interpenetration of cultures, learning Polish language by Ukrainian citizens and Ukrainian language by Polish citizens;
  • organization on a permanent basis of contacts between the spheres of Innovative Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Poland and Ukraine with the broad involvement of the university component;
  • ensuring broad cooperation between libraries of Poland and Ukraine, including electronic;
  • development of scientific and technical cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects and programs with their funding from various sources, in particular, European;
  • cooperation on sustainable development, in particular, energy for sustainable development;
  • exhibitions and other international events in the field of education, science, culture and sports in the Republic of Poland and Ukraine.
