On the occasion of Shogi Day, an exhibition was organized, and the strongest players of the Ukrainian Shogi Federation held a master class.

Mykyta Kryvokhatko, a first-year student of the Department of Computer-Integrated Technologies for the Production of PBF Devices, won the championship in the K1-Light category and took 2nd place in the Full contact category.

As part of the program to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the university trade union organized two sports tournaments: a traditional football tournament in memory of Vitaliy Molchanov and a volleyball tournament among veteran teams of 70+ and 75+ age g

17 teams competed for the championship. Each of them diligently honed their serving, attacking and game strategy.

The 2023 Spartakiad became a place for students to unite into one big family.

The third competition of the Student Spartakiad was held in KPI. This time, 14 teams of polytechnics tested their technical skills and agility in streetball.

There are two more competitions ahead.

In the second competition of the Student Spartakiad, 14 teams competed for the winning strike.

Bowling has already become a traditional sport of the Spartakiad - polytechnics have been playing it since 2013.

On May 22-27, 2023, the KPIskala Bravely Week bouldering festival was held at the KPIskala climbing wall in the KPI Polytechnic Sports Complex.

Six teams took part in the competition:

🔹 ISZZI;
🔹 Team "Polytechnic";
🔹 team of parents;
🔹 Team of veterans;
🔹 team of the Security Department;
🔹 team of the trade union committee.

Four teams took part in the competition:

🔹 ISZZI-1;
🔹 IZHSI-2;
🔹 Students' team;
🔹 The team of the Security Department with the Solomenskyi District Police.

Yesterday the Universiade of Ukraine in basketball started. The first match was held between the men's teams of KPI and KNUBA.

Our students won with a score of 90:31.
