Six months ago, on May 26, a poly-satellite "PolyITAN-2-SAU" was launched into the near-Earth orbit. This is already the second nanosatellite, designed and manufactured at the Igor Sikorsky KPI under the guidance of Senior Researcher, Candidate of Technical Science Borys Rassamakin.
On 26 May at 6 a.m Kyiv time, nano satellite “PolyITAN-2-SAU”, that was designed by the team of scientists, teachers and student of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute was launched into near-earth orbit!
In April, 18 at 11.11 local time carrier rocket of American consortium United Launch Alliance «Atlas V» was launched from cosmodrome on Cape Canaveral (USA) with transport ship "Cygnus".
The chairman of the State Space Agency of Ukraine Lubomyr Sabadosh visited the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" on May 20.
On June 19th one year passed since the first Ukrainian nanosatellite "PolyITAN-1" has been placed in orbit!
