In order to promote a healthy lifestyle among students and involve them in physical culture and sports for the sixth consecutive year, from September to November contests in five sports - swimming, table tennis, basketball, volleyball and football are carried out in the Faculty of electric power engineering and automation. This year's Sports Day was attended by 150 students of 1-5 courses of the seven departments of the faculty. The contests’ referees were teachers of the department of physical education FBE.
The prizes in swimming were given to: I place - O.Cherny, gr. ET-31m, II place - O.Didovets, gr. ED-31, III place - I.Chernousko, gr. ET-31m; Table Tennis: I place - I.Grinyuk, gr. EB-31, II place - Ya.Kavrasky, gr. EP-22, III place - I.Krivosheya, gr. EP-21. The winner of the competition in football and basketball team became the department of electrical engineering; Volleyball - Team of the Department of electric power stations. Winners and awardees were awarded with diplomas, medals and souvenirs. The team of the Department of Electromechanics became the triumphant of the Games.
FEA sports day was held thanks to the fruitful work of the organizers, responsible for sports and fitness work on the faculty Seniour Lecturer in Physical Education V.M.Efremenko and students FEPEA - Melnick, gr. EP-41m and O.Dolganov, gr. EP-21.
