December 29, representatives of the State Enterprise National Nuclear Energy Generating Company "NNEGC" Enerogatom "passed NTUU "KPI" mobile exposition devoted to nuclear energy in Ukraine.
On the eve of New Year holidays representatives of the State Enterprise "National Nuclear Energy Generating Company" Energoatom "led by its executive director Natalia Shumkova visited NTUU "KPI". They met with the vice-rector of the University corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Sergei Sidorenko, Dean of the Faculty of Heat Power Engineering Professor Eugene Pysmenny and assistant professor of the department of nuclear power stations and engineering thermophysics Valery Konshinin, which this year on the faculty was recognized as the teacher of the year.
The participants discussed issues of expansion of cooperation KPI with SE " NNEGC "Energoatom" looking in the prospects for the development of nuclear energy in Ukraine and increase the competitiveness of the industry in the domestic and foreign markets. Given that Ukraine is now among the top ten countries in the world on the development of nuclear energy , and the share of nuclear power generation in the total electricity generated in the country in recent years has exceeded 60 percent, such collaboration is becoming extremely urgent.
So the guests also gave the University Exhibition's information booth with information about the Ukrainian nuclear power plants, their equipment and the whole nuclear power in Ukraine.
