Kiev Polytechnics  actively engaged in volunteer work to help the soldiers involved in the ATO. Volunteer Battalion deploys work under the guidance of prof. S.O.Kudria. Trade union employees  accumulate funds to help the families of soldiers-polytechnics. This information is well-known and available on the website of the KPI. But there are people at the university, who without publicity and public relations make their work to fill the saving box with donations and to give necessary things to the National Guard soldiers.

Maxim Ljashenko - senior lecturer in department design automation of energy processes and systems the FHPE. He teaches information technology and carries out  web java training courses. Nearly a year, as he is at the  "front." Filled with a sense of responsibility and anxiety about the future of Ukraine, along with thousands of the same patriots he stood on the Maidan, begrimed in smoke and flames, lost friends, clenching his fists. After he cooperated with the voluntary movement Olga Bogomolets, and later - with the volunteers of the People's rear.

A few days ago Maxim returned from  zone ATO. Together with other volunteers, he drove from Kharkov through Izum - Sloviansk - Artemivs'k in Debalcevo. There he gave  to the fighters of the 54th separate reconnaissance battalion his gift - his own car Ford Probe. Experts say: "Probik has  many advantages: efficiency, capacity, , reliability, no problems with spare parts. Sit in it - and you will  not want to go out." And although the car is not new, it has a good move and speed, and it is further outfitted.

Maxim says with a smile: "Channel 1 +1 called it an old car ... It's not that - it will serve the guys!" The very next day from fighters across the social network it has been informed that Ford has had a baptism of fire and faithfully  served to the scouts. And there is on more  wish that the car will survive and will become an exhibit of the future museum.

Each time, saying goodbye to the soldiers, volunteers thank them, and the soldiers wonder - for what. The answer is almost the same: "And we do that for? It is our job. But without you it would be hard." For us, the ordinary citizens, they are all  real heroes, who are doing their job. They really need our moral and material support. Now Max and his friends collect money to buy an armored vehicle with a reinforced suspension. Volunteers are hoping for  polytechnics' help. More information on fundraising can be obtained M.V.Lyashenko (room. 412-5).

And volunteers say they have learned to distinguish the sound of weapons and know the "hail"  trail in the sky. We would like to never know it, they added. We all want to live in peace and peaceful country. And for this it is necessary to unite.
