The Second International Conference of the Black Sea region in telecommunications and networks IEEE BlackSeaCom2014 was held 27-30 May 2014 in Chisinau (Moldova). It took place on the initiative and under the auspices of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) USA and organizational support of the three universities of neighboring countries: TU Moldova, "KPI" and Odessa National Academy of Telecommunications. Popov (ONAT).

For consideration were taken about 100 works from 13 countries. Ukrainian scientists were the most active, they submitted as many as 30 jobs. Part of the accepted papers from Germany, namely the TU Dresden (TUD), was presented through the cooperation between the Institute of Telecommunication Systems "KPI" Faculty of Informatics and double-diploma program.

The conference program included a plenary session, two workshops, work in sections 10 and one exhibition. The key themes of the plenary presentations were: multiple access and energy efficiency in wireless communications (Hikmet Sari, SUPELEC, France); millimeter band as a key element in the 5G Communications (Howard Benn, Samsung Electronics, England); optical wireless communications - prospects, problems and solutions (Murat usul, Ozyegin University, Turkey).

Students ESITS NTUU "KPI", while in the 30th building of the university, took part in two online seminars on the topics of the conference: "Building networks between data centers" (Head - prof. Malathi Veeraraghavan, University of Virginia, USA) and "safety in the start-measuring systems in networks of smart grid "(Head - Dr. Obaid Ur-Rehman, University of Siegen, Germany).

Scientists "KPI", who presented their work at the conference from ESITS - Ph.D., assistant. I.Trubarov and prof. O.Trubin; PhD. M.Kolomitsev, Prof. A.Lipatov and undergraduate K.Shalbanov; prof. S.Bunin and graduate student K.Plotnik; from FICT - prof. S.Telenik and Ph.D., Assoc. O.Rolik. The delegation was headed by the Kiev Polytechnic organizing committee member BlackSea¬Com2014 prof. L.Globa. Interest of audience was held by the report of Academician of NASU M.Yu.Ilchenko "Evolution of telecommunications in Ukraine", IEEE awarded the relevant certificate.

An important component of the conference was an exhibition, consisting of 6 items: "The use of radio links with frequency modulation for digital television signals DVB-C standard" (G.Avdeenko, ESITS, "KPI"); "Prototype AdHoc / Manet terminal" (S.Bunin, ESITS, "KPI"); "Antenna on a dielectric resonator (I.Trubarov, ESITS," KPI ")," Multi-wireless telecommunications system "UMDS" (T. Narytnik, ESITS, "KPI"); "NubiGate virtual machine storage gateway for" cloud "computing (J. Spillner, TUD, Germany)," Demonstration of the localization of transmitters in indoor environments using the radio card - Radio Environmental Maps (D.Denkovsky, L.Gavrilovska, University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Macedonia).

Від ІТС на виставці було представлено 4 експонати, які отримали схвальний відгук учасників та організаторів конференції.

4 exhibits were presented in the exibition from ESITS, that have received a favorable response of participants and organizers of the conference.
