The final of the Ukrainian nationwide competition of innovative products for the information security of the banking system "Anticyber" among the students of higher educational institutions of Ukraine took place on December, 19 and was organized by Independent Association of Ukrainian Banks (IAUB). The competition, which started on April, 15, was supported by National Technical University of Ukraine "Kiev Polytechnic Institute" and the Science Park "Kyivska Polytechnica". The participants were talented students up to 30 years, who submitted their projects in the areas "Fantasy", "Optimization", "Security", "Antivirus protection".
51 projects have been submitted for the competition 10 of which reached the final:
As a result, the jury members selected three winners:
- 1st place was taken by Voronkova Yelizaveta Sergeevna and her project “Improving the reliability of authentication by using portable encephalograph and a device for taking a forearm electromyogram”
- 2nd place was taken by Trinko Igor Igorevich and his project “Increasing of protection level of entering PIN-code in ATMs”
- 3nd place was taken by Pyshka Dmitry Ivanovich and his project “Protected method of entering information into ATM”

National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", Science Park "Kyiv Polytechnic" and the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine (IABU) conduct among undergraduate and graduate students the All-Ukrainian contest of innovative products for information security of the banking system "Anticyber".
The contest begins on the 15th of April, 2013.
The winner will be announced in December, 2013.
The prize fund is 35 000 hryvnias! (1st place - 20 000 hryvnias, 2nd place - 10 000 hryvnias, 3rd place – 5 000 hryvnias)
The participants are expected to be talented undergraduate and graduate students up to 30 years.Subject-matter of the contest:
- Direction "Fantasy". The contestant is to offer technologies of the future, economically feasible innovative solutions. The future payment terminals, automatic teller machines, charge cards etc. are to be described from the point of view of user identification (card holder, account holder, payer, etc.) and the provision of transfer security.
- Direction "Optimization". It is necessary to reduce the cost of already existing technologies (chip technology, smart technology, technology of secure data transmission, etc.).
- Direction "Security". The contestant is to offer devices aimed at identifying the illegal intervention in the ATM operation (skimming devices, etc.).
- Direction "Antivirus protection". Offer a product aimed at protecting against fraud systems using remote banking service (RBS).
