The Educational and Research Center for Innovative Monitoring of Education Quality (EQMI) conducts independent comprehensive monitoring of the quality of training of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute specialists, organizes and conducts systematic rectorial control of students' residual knowledge and school knowledge of freshmen of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, organizes and conducts a set of adaptation and remedial courses for students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The Center provides pre-university training and professional orientation for citizens of Ukraine.
FUNCTIONS OF THE CENTER
The Center in accordance with the tasks assigned to it:
- develops scientific and methodological principles and technologies for monitoring the quality of higher education in cooperation with the relevant departments and the Department of Educational Process Organization of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
- develops methodological support for diagnosing the quality of the educational process in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
- organizes and conducts systematic independent comprehensive monitoring of the quality of training of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute specialists and forms recommendations on its basis to improve all components of the educational process;
- organizes and conducts systematic rectorial control of residual knowledge of senior students and residual school knowledge of freshmen of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
- organizes and conducts adaptation and corrective courses for students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
- carries out educational, training, scientific, methodological, career guidance, organizational and informational activities in the field of pre-university training;
- Conduct- information campaigns aimed at positioning and promoting Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute as an innovative educational center, carries out PR (Public Relations), forms corporate identity and culture and the capabilities of corporate publications in the corporate communications system;
- forms, together with the specialized departments of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, a data bank for diagnosing the quality of the educational process in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
- forms a database of independent experts;
- analyzes the activities of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute regarding the quality of education in preparation for external control procedures (certification, accreditation, etc.)
- develops and carries out measures to create a system of quality assurance in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in accordance with the requirements of state education standards, criteria and indicators of national and European accreditation systems and international procedures for the recognition of educational programs;
- organizes and conducts the educational process in the system of pre-university training;
- develops methodological support for pre-university training;
- develops, examines, analyzes and summarizes educational and professional, curricula, scientific and methodological plans and programs of pre-university training;
- develops and develops teaching methods for integrated curricula with specialized educational and research institutes, faculties, departments of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
- develops and develops, together with the Admissions Committee of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, effective procedures for searching and selecting talented youth for admission to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
- organizes and conducts, together with specialized educational and research institutes and faculties, comprehensive Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Olympiads;
- develops individual educational trajectories of students for further study in the master's, postgraduate and doctoral programs of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
- analyzes and summarizes domestic and foreign scientific and methodological works in the field of adaptive testing systems, new teaching technologies, and education quality management systems;
- participates in the organization and holding of university, national and international scientific and methodological conferences, symposia, seminars, meetings, etc. in the main areas of the Center's activities;
- publishes manuals, textbooks, and other methodological materials, coordinated in content and adapted to the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute curricula;
- carries out a set of activities aimed at civic education of the individual in the context of the development of Ukrainian statehood;
- cooperates with youth and public organizations, cultural institutions, conducts joint activities for the education of young people;
- carries out activities that promote social adaptation of children with disabilities;
- develops criteria and puts into practice methods for identifying students' abilities and talents, and developing sound recommendations for their future profession;
- involves gifted students in search work on the basis of specialized departments of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
- publishes and distributes, together with the Admissions Committee, educational and research institutes and faculties of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, promotional materials about the traditions, achievements of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and its subdivisions in educational, scientific and international activities;
- attracts domestic, foreign and international funds for the development of scientific and methodological research and development on monitoring the quality of education, pre-university training and media;
- conducts daily monitoring and analysis of social networks, information related to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on internal and external information platforms;
- organizes photo and video shooting, promotional events both by Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute departments and third-party organizations on the territory and in the premises of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
