Chemical engineering faculty of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute actively participates in all initiatives related to attracting investors and business to innovative ideas and projects in the field of water chemistry and technology.

The project "Water Harmony II", with the support of the Norwegian Center for International Cooperation in Higher Education and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has united 10 universities from 7 countries: Norway, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, with the Norwegian University of Natural Sciences, Technological University, South-Kazakhstan State University named after Auezov, Technical University of Moldova, Tajik Technical University, Mining and Metallurgical Institute Tajik, Kyrgyz National University. J. Balasagina, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Ukrainian State Chemical Technology University and Cherkasy State Technological University.

The current project is a logical continuation and is based on the foundations laid down by the first project "Water harmony" (2011-2015), Within the framework of which the textbook is published in five languages "Physico-chemical methods of water treatment." Water management (580 pages) a collection of scientific works of the project participants, were organized joint scientific and practical conferences, were harmonized in accordance with international requirements three credit modules for masters studying chemistry and water technology, links were established with promises for the introduction of scientific development.

"Water harmony" cooperates with the project Water Harmony Erasmus +, which is attended by 10 universities from Poland, Germany, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, China and Norway. Starting in 2016, "Water Harmony II" in a year demonstrates excellent results: 23 students and 6 teachers have been trained in Norway in 2016. A selection of 25 people made a trip in 2017 (from the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in the training are involved three students, and during the first project "Water Harmony" 25 students and 6 teachers were interned in Norway), prepared programs for 6 disciplines related to water, prepared a second edition of the textbook, updated a laboratory base, etc. to attract more than 40 teachers, 100 students and 30 specialists from public and private organizations to increase the focus on research, innovation and the labor market, strengthen and expand partnerships.

At the end of May 2017, the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the third project partner meeting, which discussed the issues of organizing double diplomas between universities, the quality of teaching materials and education, attracting partners for joint management of graduate students, a plan for lectures and practical lessons for the summer school in Norway, opportunities of cooperation with other projects, universities and enterprises , dissemination of information about the project and involving students in the promotion of the project and learning outcomes.

Vice-rector of international relations, Sergei Sidorenko, solemnly opened the meeting, noting the significance of the project for university and prospects for developing scientific connections with the leading universities in Europe and Asia. Project coordinator Professor of the Norwegian University of Natural Sciences Kharsha Ratnavira, a graduate of the Department of Inorganic Substances Technology and General Chemical Technology 1987, described the participation of the Norway Government in the development of higher education in Eurasia. Speech of the chemistry and technology faculty dean Professor I..A. Strelin with the report "Water harmony is the way to success" has completed the official part of the meeting.

To disseminate the results of the project, were invited to the meeting representatives of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" and the National University of Water Management and Nature Management from Rivne. June 1, 2017 the participants of the meeting visited the largest international exhibition in Ukraine "Aqua-Therm Kiev 2017", within the framework of which was organized the seminar "Water: Science and Technologies". Representatives of universities presented scientific developments and had the opportunity to strengthen partnerships and establish cooperation with water companies.
