November 21, 2016 Prilutsky Mikhail Ivanovich - deputy head of the department of physical and chemical bases of technology of metals, Senior Lecturer - celebrated his 80th anniversary. And soon turns 60, he crossed the threshold of the Kiev Polytechnic Institute. All his work is connected with the KPI. In wide circles of the teaching community M.I.Prylutskyy known as a talented teacher, lecturer and scholar, intellectual creative person.

In 1963 he graduated from the   Mechanical Engineering Department of the Polytechnic Institute qualified as metallurgical engineer, specialty "Foundry of ferrous and nonferrous metals." In the same year he was involved in the educational process. He lectures on subjects: "Heat," "Thermal," "Furnaces and dried foundries."

In 1977, at the initiative of the dean of the Faculty of Engineering Physics prof. D.F.Chernehy, the department opened a new department - physical and chemical bases of metal technology, which Dmitry Fedorovich tried to pick a good team of professionals. Mikhail Ivanovich Prilutsky actively participated in the development department, primarily engaged in the development and setting up laboratory facilities. One of his works is a Laboratory of Heat metallurgical processes, working day.

In this small room, he tried to recreate the processes taking place in the metallurgical industry: study changes in thermal properties when they are heated and cooled, determine the main parameters affecting the efficiency of furnaces and others. Acquired in the laboratory students use knowledge when designing furnaces.

Scientific research M.I.Prylutskoho was heat and mass transfer in metallurgical processes, thermal operation of industrial furnaces, drying materials, development of formulations and research core mixtures, modification and research of thermal properties of steels and alloys based on aluminum technology development and receipt of casting alloys based on gold production technology solders.

Mikhail Ivanovich is the author of over 150 scientific papers, patents. He has honorary sign "Excellence in Education of Ukraine", awarded the title "Honored Worker KPI".

He made a significant contribution to the development of curricula, improving the methodological work and development of material base of university and department (including the design and construction management hull number 9, etc.).

Mikhail Ivanovich is a good example for young people - an interesting conversationalist and tolerant person.
