A delegation of representatives of the Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd company (PRC) visited NTUU "Igor Sikorsky KPI" on 2nd June.
It is one of the most famous Chinese companies in a sphere of information and communication technologies. It is focused on researching and implementation of new inventions, annually making investments. The net of its divisions is widely spread all over the world. The division in Ukraine exists since 1997. The Chief Delegate, Zhao Keshuai said that there were a lot of KPI graduates among the corporate employees. The company has partnership relations with Ukrainian universities and scientific-research institutions and the company tends to extend cooperation in Ukraine now.
“The main aim of the visit – is to introduce new avenues of research, innovation and education” - said the pro-rector of KPI, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Mykhaylo Ilchenko at the beginning of the meeting. – It will give an opportunity of strengthening the cooperation between experts and company’s divisions.”
During the meeting the representative of institutes and faculties of NTUU “KPI” introduced Chinese colleagues with their researches and inventions in the field of wireless communications system, design and development of different types of antennas, refrigerating systems and temperature control of electronic assemblies, electrochemical condenser bank systems etc. Also, delegation members visited Centre of innovative enterprise, Telecommunication center, made acquainted with the Innovative ecosystem "Sikorsky Challenge", looked at the laboratory of experimental equipment designs of start-up projects, The Scientific and Technical Library of the university and other departments.
The next steps will be made in the field of association of cooperation between the company’s division and the university.
