On the 25th of June, 2016 the 10th graduation of young officers of the State Special Communications Service of Ukraine took place at the state institution “Institute of Specialized Communication and Information Security NTUU ‘KPI’”( ISZZI NTUU “KPI”). For the first time the graduation ceremony was held on the Knowledge Square of NTUU ‘KPI’.
The festive event was attended by heads of the State Service of Specialized Communication and Information Security of Ukraine, representatives of state and local authorities, state security forces, veterans of ISZZI NTUU “KPI” and veterans of Government Communications forces, volunteers and participants of ATO (Anti-Terrorist Operation), parents and close relatives of personnel of ISZZI NTUU “KPI”.
This day 73 diplomas were received by young officers. Head of the State Service of Specialized Communication and Information Security of Ukraine Major General L.O.Yevdochenko and Vice-Rector on scientific and pedagogical work in NTUU"KPI" P.O.Kyrychok awarded 11 best graduates with diplomas with distinction.
Deputy Head of the institute Colonel Y.V. Sokyrka greeted young lieutenants on behalf of Prime Minister of Ukraine V.B. Groysman and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine A.V.Parubiy. Head of the State Service of Special Communication Major General L.O. Yevdochenko congratulated them on graduation from educational institution of State Special Communication Service and on assignment of the first military officer ranks. A lingering threefold "Glory" sounded along the ranks of graduators.
A welcoming speech and wishes were also proclaimed by vice-rector on scientific and pedagogical work of NTUU "KPI" P.O. Kyrychok, head of the company "Nokia-Ukraine", CEO of "Alcatel-Lusent Ukraine" O.A.Hahlyuk, head of fund "OVES" T.A.Rudenko, ATO (Anti-Terrorist Operation) paryicipant O.P.Pavlyuk, co-founder of the charity fund "Combat-UA" I.Y.Fedirko, priest Volodymyr and a graduate of ISZZI NTUU “KPI” lieutenant D.V.Plotko. Cadet and junior sergeant Yury Kupchak greeted graduates with the song ‘Officers”.
At the end of the celebration the personnel of ISZZI NTUU “KPI” marched solemnly, accompanied by a military orchestra of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
