A regular meeting of the Academic Council was held at March 2. It was started with the congratulations of the jubilee – the academician of the Academy of Technology of Ukraine, professor of the department of heat power and energy saving, doctor of technical sciences, Valentin Andreevich Eroshenko.
The first item of the agenda was the improvement of the specialists’ training in conditions of the reform of the education system in NTUU “KPI”. The first Vice-Rector Y.I. Yakimenko made a report. He drew attention to the priorities of reforming the educational system in NTUU "KPI" and especially focused on international accreditation of educational programs and international integration. Yuri Ivanovich also noted that it is important to establish contacts with the European Agency for the quality assurance of higher education.
The next item on the agenda was the report of the Vice-Rector P.O.Kyrychok about the features of the educational work in 2014. He singled main activities of the Department of educational work, gave a detailed analysis of attestation showing dynamics of successful passes of exams. In addition, Peter Olekseevich reported on the results of students - foreign citizens, informed about scholarships, cultural and media work.
And finally there were considered competitive issues and current affairs.
