Every year on May 18, the State Polytechnic Museum named after Borys Paton at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute celebrates the International Museum Day.

The State Polytechnic Museum at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is known far beyond the university. Fewer people visited the very interesting Artistic Casting Memorial Methodical Room at the Y. O.

A temporary exhibition "75 Years Ago, the First An-2 Aircraft Hit the Sky" was opened on the initiative of Serhiy Ivanovich Grachov at the department of aviation and cosmonautics of the Borys Paton State Polytechnic Museum.

The international exhibition “Open Space”, which took place in the Republic of Lithuania in 2021, has ended. At the invitation of the Lithuanian Museum of Ethnocosmology, the Borys Paton State Polytechnic Museum at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (SPM) participated in the event.

International Museum Day is held annually throughout the world on May 18. 

From 1902 to 1924, Kyiv Polytechnic Institute included the Engineering Museum, which played an essential role in training engineers. 

Everyone is expecting a miracle and gifts on the New Year and Christmas holidays. Pupils of the Department of Chemistry and Biology of the Municipal extracurricular school «Kyiv Youth Academy of Sciences» got a gift of a visit to the fascinating State Museum of Science.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has recently adopted the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Some Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Maintenance of the Museums of Higher Education Institutions.”
