Kudashev Olexandr Sergiiovych (21 February, 1872 -?.?. 1917) – Kyiv design engineer, professor of Kyiv Polytechnic institute (1906-1911), the designer of the first operative aircraft construction in Russian Empire.
On November, 7, a commemorative mark was unveiled in the KPI at the site of the construction of the Kudashev-1 aircraft, the first airborne aircraft of the national design.

Alexander Sergeevich Kudashev was born on 28th of January, 1872 in St. Petersburg in the family of state councillor . His father Kudashev Sergei Sergeyevich (1834-?), had five daughters and the only son Alexander.
