On November 13, 2008 the delegation of representatives of Polish higher educational institutions headed by Jan Andrezej Nical visited NTUU'KPI' with the aim to discuss questions of further cooperation with our university.
From NTUU'KPI” in the meeting took part: – Vice-rectors S.Sydorenko and G.Varlamov, managers Ye. Ogorodnyk and A. Pyatova, director of the Scientific-Technical library V.Drygailo.
The Vice-rector S.Sydorenko greeted the guests, introduced the participants in the meeting from the part of NTUU”KPI”. He congratulated the guests with the Polish holiday – Day of Independence, celebrated on November 11.
Then he named the directions of cooperation in the field of education and research with Polish universities through Ukrainian-Polish center at NTUU”KPI”. The Ukrainian-Polish center was founded due to the Agreement signed in Warsaw on March 2008 between NTUU”KPI” and the Polish educational foundation “Perspectywy”. The presentation of the Center took place at NTUU”KPI” on June 26, 2008. The main task of the Center's activities is to help to develop cooperation in scientific and educational spheres of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland.
Vice-rector G.Varlamov informed the Polish guests about the Department of mobility, forms of study at the university, contacts with the Polish universities.
The parties agreed to expand the cooperation between NTUU”KPI” and Polish universities in exchange of students, postgraduates, holders of master's degree, professors, scientists, in organizing Olympiads, sport and other competitions.
